Private Training Packages

We offer private dog training packages that can be conducted either in the comfort of your own home, where there are minimal distractions and a more conducive learning environment, or at our indoor Training Center where training is more realistic. Depending on your dog’s specific needs, we may also hold training sessions in public areas to focus on different aspects of training.

Each session is around 45 to 65 minutes long and is designed to teach you how to communicate effectively with your puppy or dog, providing you with lifelong benefits. Our approach emphasizes teaching the reasoning behind the techniques rather than just what to do. We don’t solely rely on positive reinforcement but also incorporate all four quadrants of operant conditioning.

The “Basic Obedience” Package is for dog owners who just want to learn the “why,” get more focus from their dog, reinforce what their dog already knows, and help solving unwanted dog behavioral problems. 8 weeks give time to add more intermediate skills, dog reaction, or off leash recalls. Recommended Ages: 4 months to 4 years old.

The “Puppy Foundation” Package is for owners who just brought home a new puppy or young dog and want to accelerate the learning process, get ahead of unwanted problems, and establish good obedience behaviors. Recommended Ages: 4 months to 18 months old.

The Advanced Dog training package is designed for owners seeking more advanced dog training so their dog can adapt to various situations helping to create a stable and obedient dog both on and off leash. Recommended Ages: 4 months to 4 years old.

  • 6 sessions of Private Training at Fowler K9 Academy
  • 2 Field Trip Sessions(public places such as Home Depot, Tractor Supply, in-home, etc.)
  • 8 weeks of Basic/Intermediate Group obedience training

THE “PROTECTION DOG” PACKAGE

From Puppy to Family or Sport Protection Dog. This package is for the owner who seeks to turn their puppy into a Family or Sport Protection Dog. Recommended Ages 14 weeks to 12 months old. Assessments required.

This package will take your puppy from how to work for food to off leash recall, to proper tug play principles and basic grip development. This package will give you and your puppy the tools needed to continue into more advanced bite work.

This package includes 26 Sessions…

  • 8 sessions of Private Training at Fowler K9 Academy
  • 2 Field Trip Sessions(public places such as Home Depot, Tractor Supply, in-home, etc.)
  • 8 weeks of Basic/Intermediate Group obedience training
  • 8 Group Personal Protection Dog training sessions

In this course we cover all the obedience from the “Family Dog” and “Advanced Dog” packages PLUS:

  • Drive building
  • Proper toy play
  • Confidence building
  • Introduction to different bite equipment.
  • Leash handling skills
  • Controlled aggression training
  • Access to a professional decoy

THE “AT HOME BASIC OBEDIENCE” PACKAGE

The “At Home Basic Obedience” Package is for dog owners who just want to learn the “why,” get more focus from their dog, reinforce what their dog already knows, and help solving unwanted dog behavioral problems. This is a 6 session package at home.

Ages: 12 weeks to 4 years old.
