Advanced Foundations Group Class
Take Your Training to the Next Level
Our Advanced Foundations Group Class is designed for handlers and dogs ready to move beyond the basics and develop precision, focus, and reliability in real-world settings.
This class builds on the skills established in our Private Training and Board & Train programs, creating a structured and goal-oriented environment where teams can grow together.
Beginning March 2026, Fowler K9 Academy will introduce this refined group class model to ensure every dog and handler pair is well-prepared and ready to train at an intermediate level.
Group Dog
Obedience Class
The 8 week dog class is designed to teach you an effective way of communicating to your dog that will have life long results. We understand most older dogs can sit and down, but we will teach you how to make it better and more consistent. We use the same communication system adopted by elite dog trainers, sport dog trainers, police dog trainers, scent detection trainers, and people looking to get their puppy a good foundation of obedience. We’ll use your dogs motivation for food, balls, and tug toys to help this communication system work best for you and your puppy or young dog.
This communication system is used to teach:
- Sit
- Down
- Heel
- Recall (come back when called)
- Place command
- Loose leash walking
- Address any other problem behaviors your puppy might have
At the end of 8 weeks we will evaluate your progress to see if you are ready for the Intermediate Obedience class.
Recommended age: 11 months and older.
